Ever thought about traveling to Berlin? Don’t book those tickets just yet. This year marks the 50th anniversary of Berlin and Los Angeles as sister cities, and be Berlin is hosting a popup 'Berlin Lab' right here in the DTLA Arts District. 'Berlin Lab' is part of be Berlin, a larger campaign to promote Berlin as both a place of freedom and creativity. The two-day festival will give attendees a real taste of Berlin – from its art and music, to its technology and culture – all for free.

Dance the night away! The Goethe-Institut Los Angeles presents an awesome concert from L.A. born Berlin transplant Simonne Jones and fellow Berlin resident Black Cracker, who take over the stage at the Berlin Lab with their über pop and hip-hop live sets, accompanied by DJ Anne Litt. For more information click here.
